LUFUNO MAKHARI

Lufuno began his investment banking experience with Nedbank Capital in 2009. Following his time on Nedbank’s Global Commodity Finance desk, Lufuno joined Phembani Group’s investment team, where he was involved in originating, negotiating, implementing and post investment managing transactions across a wide range of sectors.

In 2016 Lufuno co-founded RELA Alternative Investments, a closed-end passively managed investment firm. In 2018 Lufuno co-founded Chase & Willow Capital and took on the executive role of Managing Director.

LEIGH-ANNE VARRIE

Managing Director

Leigh is a media professional with over two decades of experience, began her journey at Primedia Broadcasting Johannesburg, immersing herself in radio for seven years. In 2009, she founded Intimedia, a boutique consultancy known for its owner-managed approach, delivering tangible results across media platforms. Leigh’s commitment to core values like transparency and client-centricity propelled Intimedia’s success. In 2021, she expanded her vision with Intagreat, focusing on crafting bespoke media strategies for African clients, driving both brand and business growth through viewable and attentive advertising.

OWEN WILLIAMS

Managing Director

Owen Williams is a seasoned advertising and media professional with over 20 years of experience. Passionate about strategic media thinking, he focuses on delivering real media metrics to achieve clients’ marketing and business objectives. He envisions an advertising industry characterized by honesty, aiming for a digital paid environment free from ad fraud. His dream is for publishers and platforms to deliver 100% quality, viewable and attentive advertising to consumers precisely when they need it.
